The Association
We are working on establishing a permanent venue for electronic music in Odense, making Funen a great place to create and experience electronic music.
Electronic Music Funen (EMF) is an association that works to strengthen the electronic music scene in Odense and more broadly across Funen. We are working on establishing a permanent venue for mainly house, techno and trance in Odense, while we also welcome other electronic music genres. We also plan to host a series of workshops to strengthen the community and help new talent.
We organize concerts with local and international artists.
We share knowledge and help new talent get started with DJ and music production courses.
We are building a strong network for everyone passionate about electronic music on Funen.

Anton Vorobets
Chairperson
Anton's passion for electronic music began at an early age. From 2002-2007 he was a vinyl DJ and, among other things, played at the renowned Airbeat One festival at just 18 years old. During that period he also organized a long string of parties on Funen. In his day job, Anton runs his own IT company.
Ayo Krohn Mikkelsen
Vice Chairperson
Ayo is an electronic musician, singer and passionate culture-maker. She has been active in Copenhagen's cultural scene, where she has, among other things, held workshops at Culture Box, put on concerts at H15 and Støberiet, and was part of CPH Music Maker Space. In her day job, she works with IT in railway operations.
Emil Kwiatek Johansson
Treasurer
Emil has had a passion for electronic music for two decades, during which he has traveled the world to listen and dance to the music in different countries and cultures. He is an entrepreneur and tech nerd, working with E2E data systems in his day-to-day job.
Andreas Smed
Bookings & community
Andreas works at the intersection of electronic music, art and cultural production. Over 20 years he has created experiences as a musician, project manager at DanceLikaMonkey, artist at Heartland and Tinderbox, and co-organizer of Solfar. In his day job, Andreas works at Vestas.
Jesper Jeppesen
Facility Manager
Jesper has been part of the electronic music scene for over 20 years, from a 17-year-old vinyl DJ to a music producer with his own record label. Over the years, he has hosted a wide range of events. In his day job, Jesper works as a self-employed consulting engineer in the construction industry.
Markus Hansen
Technical advisor
Markus' journey as an electronic music producer started a year ago, and there's a fire burning in him to create both music and events. He's a trained engineer, has a curious mind and takes an interest in everything to do with technology and physics. In his day-to-day work, he works with electricity and generators.
Mélina Guillon
Health & Awareness
Mélina's passion for electronic music is about a rich culture of sound, creativity and connection. She has attended many festivals, volunteered at music events and been part of a Finish electronic music association. In her daily life, Mélina is a PhD candidate in ageing research at SDU in Odense.
If you represent a Funen-based collective or record label, you have the opportunity to become a member of the association Electronic Music Funen (EMF), gain influence and collaborate with us on a regular basis regarding the hosting of events in Odense and on Funen. If you represent a collective or record label from another geographic location, we would of course still be glad to collaborate, for example, by inviting you to host an evening. In both cases, please get in touch with us as described below.
